Emil Schönning

Emil Schönning is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and DevSecOps. Currently serving as a DevSecOps Architect and previously as a Senior DevOps Specialist at AFRY since July 2020, Emil has a strong background in autonomous mining systems developed for Sandvik Mining during tenure at ÅF from September 2008 to January 2022. Emil's expertise includes coding in ASP and project management, notably for a GUI upgrade in an oil refinery management system using WPF/WCF and C#. Prior experience includes a Configuration Manager role at Arbetsförmedlingen, focusing on CMS software delivery in a Linux environment, and serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Teligent with responsibilities as a Technical Lead in customer deliveries. Emil holds an education from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Nynäshamns Gymnasium.
