Francesco Pusterla is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Currently serving as the Head of Virtual Design and Construction at AFRY, Francesco promotes VDC/BIM methodologies across Switzerland while pursuing innovative digital solutions. Francesco is the founder and community manager of Wip, a creative workspace in Como, Italy, and lectures on 3D modeling and Digital Fabrication at Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli Como. With a robust background in BIM consultancy and project development at R.P.Arch., Francesco has contributed significantly to the field through roles at academic institutions and industry-leading firms, bolstering BIM standards and overseeing numerous digital fabrication initiatives. Francesco holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from USI Università della Svizzera italiana.
