Joachim Åhs

Joachim Åhs is currently a Quality Manager in the Project Management Organization at AFRY, focusing on industrial EPC and EPCM projects. Previously, they served as a Manager at ÅF, ensuring compliance with quality requirements throughout various phases of project execution. From 2010 to 2017, Joachim held the position of Welding Materials and Quality Engineer at QE Group AB, where they led quality management systems and provided expertise in welding and materials. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Welding and Quality Engineer at YIT, developing quality systems for welding and managing project quality within the energy and paper sectors. Joachim studied Metallurgy and Materials Technology at Bergsskolan and earned a degree as an International Welding Engineer from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
