Johan Malmquist

Johan Malmquist has extensive experience in operational excellence and project management, currently serving as Head of Operational Excellence and Quality at AFRY, where responsibilities include overseeing a division of 7,400 employees across eight countries in transportation, real estate, and architecture & design. Malmquist has held various leadership positions at AFRY, such as Project Manager in the COO Office Division Infrastructure and Segmentchef Järnväg/Business Unit Manager for Rail Sweden, where oversight involved managing significant budgets and leading diverse teams in rail projects across multiple locations. Previous roles include Project Manager at Grontmij Group and Signalling Engineer at Atkins, among others, with a strong educational background in computer and electronic science from Kristianstad University. Malmquist holds an IPMA certification at level C.
