Juha Pesonen

Juha Pesonen is a project manager at AFRY, overseeing the insulation fluid treatment process detail engineering for the Hitachi Energy Park transformer factory project since January 2025. Prior to this role, Juha served as a coordinator and deputy project manager from April 2018 to September 2024, contributing to a confidential project and preparing for engineering phases. Juha's experience includes various project engineering roles focused on cost control, reporting, and logistics within major projects such as Outokumpu's DeepMine Program. Juha's earlier career includes positions at Oy Botnia Mill Service Ab, Bioforest S.A., and Stora Enso, along with leadership roles in student organizations. Educational qualifications include a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in process engineering from the University of Oulu, complemented by further management training.
