Julia Fordham

Julia Fordham is a Senior Consultant at AFRY since April 2019, specializing in the development of electricity models across North America, with a strong focus on decarbonization, renewable energy technologies, and green policies. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at Imperial College London, where research centered on thermodynamic studies and energy efficiency improvements, as well as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where work involved synthesizing quantum dot photovoltaics. Earlier, Julia served as a Student Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory, investigating thin film photovoltaics. Julia holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London and dual Bachelor's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, and Environmental Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
