Mahmoud Y.

Mahmoud Y. possesses extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, having held key positions in notable companies since 2006. At Chemanol from June 2010 to May 2014, Mahmoud served as Methanol Operation Superintendent, focusing on process development for a 700 MTPD Methanol Plant. Mahmoud then contributed to Sadara Chemical Company as the Isocyanates Production and Immediate Response Leader from May 2014 to September 2020, overseeing operations for a 620 MTPD Toluene Di-Isocyanate Plant. Prior to this, in a role at Sanmar Group from May 2006 to May 2010, Mahmoud managed production shifts and served as a process safety focal point. Most recently, Mahmoud worked at AFRY from March 2022 to December 2023 as a Process Commissioning Engineer and Commissioning Deputy Manager, leading mechanical handover and start-up activities for various projects. Educationally, Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Suez Canal University and a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Renewable Energy Generation from Stockholm University.
