Martin Öman

Martin Öman has extensive work experience in the engineering and automotive industry. Martin is currently the EVP and Head of Division Industrial & Digital Solutions at AFRY. Prior to this, they held roles such as VP and Head of Business Area Product & Software Engineering, VP and Head of Automotive Design & Engineering, and VP and Head of Automotive R&D at AFRY.

Before joining AFRY, Martin worked at ÅF as the Business Area Manager and Vice Business Area Manager for Automotive Projects. Martin also co-founded LeanNova Engineering AB, where they served as the COO. Additionally, they worked at Saab Automobile AB as the Engineering Manager for Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics, Engineer Manager for Vehicle Simulation, and Engineering Manager for Interior & Interior Safety CAE. Martin started their career as a CAE Engineer at Volvo Aero.

Martin Öman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Skövde, which they obtained between 1990 and 1992. Martin went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology from 1993 to 1996. Later, they completed a Master of Science in Technology Management at Chalmers University of Technology between 2006 and 2008.
