Mehtaab Kaur

Mehtaab Kaur currently serves as an Energy Analyst at AFRY since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mehtaab worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University from June 2022 to July 2023, where significant contributions included developing a machine learning force field for simulating amorphous Silicon Dioxide coatings and performing DFT calculations that reduced the structure dataset by 50 times. Additionally, during a Corporate Sustainability Internship at Axis Bank from June 2022 to December 2022, Mehtaab developed a regression algorithm to predict electricity consumption in solar-powered offices. Earlier experience includes a Process Engineering Internship at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where Six Sigma techniques were implemented to optimize furnace effectiveness. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering with integrated MBA from Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar UICET, Panjab University.
