Michael Wippel

Michael Wippel is the Deputy Head of Sales at AFRY Austria, specializing in hydro, energy, and transformation. With over 15 years of international leadership experience, they have previously held roles such as Area Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager at Biogest Energie- und Wassertechnik GmbH and worked with companies like Voith Hydro and OTT Hydromet. Michael completed their Master of Business Administration in Change Management & Leadership at FH Burgenland and holds a degree in Cultural Engineering and Water Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. Prior to their corporate career, they served as a civilian servant and paramedic with the Austrian Red Cross.
