Milind Patil

Milind Patil is a Principal Engineer - Geotechnical at AFRY since December 2020, providing technical leadership in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for major infrastructure projects, including hydropower, dams, and tunnels. Previously, Milind held roles as Project Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer, focusing on project planning, client management, and detailed geotechnical design. Prior experience includes Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and research and teaching assistant roles at the IITB-Monash Research Academy. Milind started a career as a Geotechnical Engineer at Ram Caddsys Pvt. Ltd., specializing in supporting clients using PLAXIS software. Education includes a PhD in Civil Engineering from both the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and Monash University, as well as an M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a BE in Civil Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
