Samuel Geddes

Samuel Geddes is a seasoned project manager and engineer currently serving as the UK Project Manager for the South Clyde Energy Centre Project at AFRY, where responsibilities include managing planning permissions, environmental permits, and technical interfaces. Prior to this role, Geddes held senior engineering positions involving project management for various energy projects, including the Tees REP biomass plant and process optimization studies at RWE Generation UK. With a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Aston University, Geddes has contributed to clean-tech initiatives as the Chief Operating Officer of Green Phoenix and has also gained experience in mentorship and customer service throughout a varied career. Key achievements include securing significant funding for start-up projects and leading feasibility studies that identified substantial cost savings.
