Thomas Stute is a Consultant at AFRY since June 2023. Previously, Thomas worked as a Project Engineer at FAGUS-GRECON GRETEN GMBH & CO. KG from November 2018 to May 2023, focusing on startup, customer training, and data analysis for the GreCon FORMATOR system to improve processes in MDF, OSB, and particle board mills across Europe, the USA, and South America. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Universität Hamburg from May 2016 to October 2017, conducting experiments on engineered bamboo products, and working as a Letter Carrier at Deutsche Post from June 2012 to October 2016. Thomas also completed a Research Assistant Internship at EGGER - More from Wood while pursuing a Bachelor Thesis on OSB strand geometry analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Holzwirtschaft from the University of Hamburg (2016-2018), a Bachelor of Science in Holzwirtschaft from the same institution (2012-2016), and a Research Internship in Civil Engineering at Addis Ababa University (2017-2018).
