Tom Williams

Tom Williams is a Principal Consultant and Manager at AFRY, where responsibilities include project management for decarbonisation strategies in the oil and gas sector and overseeing market reports across European markets. Previously at Pöyry Management Consulting, Tom managed quarterly modelling for wholesale electricity price projections across 30 European markets and was an expert in the Great Britain electricity market. Tom has also contributed to the Sustainable Development Group at AECOM and served as a Policy Advisor at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, focusing on heat sector analysis for the 2050 Pathways Analysis project. Educational credentials include an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University, and qualifications in law from BPP Law School and City St George’s, University of London.
