Victor D.

Victor D. serves as the Head of Client Relations & Sales and International Business Manager for Hydropower and Dams at AFRY since September 2014, focusing on the development of the international hydropower and dams business within the African market. Additionally, Victor D. holds prominent positions in various committees, including President of the Public Relations Group and member of the Swiss Committee on Dams, as well as a member of the French Committee on Dams and Reservoirs. An experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor since 2014, Victor D. began a career in engineering as a Project Manager and Project Engineer at ÅF, where responsibilities included managing international hydropower projects across multiple countries. Previous experience includes roles at BG Consulting Engineers and an internship at IRD, contributing to hydraulic engineering and natural hazard protection projects. Victor D. holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Master of Advanced Studies in Hydraulic Engineering from EPFL.
