Yang Chen

Yang Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy management and HVAC solutions, currently serving as Sections Manager at AFRY since May 2007. In this role, Yang Chen oversees the Energy Management and HVAC sections, leading a team of 24 experts and previously transforming a smaller team into a dynamic group of 12. Prior experience includes managing a 6-person team focused on Energy Analysis and certifications, as well as contributing to a joint research program between Norway and Sweden on energy utilization from low-grade heat sources as a Research Program Manager at KTH. Yang Chen holds a Ph.D. in Energy Technology and a Master's degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning system engineering from Beijing University of Technology.
