Ylva Berg

Ylva Berg has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and consulting sectors. Ylva is currently the VP and Head of Business Area Digital Services at AFRY, responsible for a division with a turnover of approximately 1 billion SEK and 500+ employees. Ylva has also served as a Board Member and Audit Committee at Samhall AB, a Board Member at Advania, and the EVP Group CIO at Tyréns AB. Ylva has been recognized for their achievements in technology, being named a Finalist for the CIO Award in 2021 at IDG. Ylva has also held leadership roles at Coor, where they served as the Head of Digital Development and Group CIO. Prior to that, they held managerial positions at Lawson Software Operations, where they were the Global Product Support Manager and Global Software Development Manager. Ylva began their career as a Business Consultant at Intentia Consulting Sweden.

Ylva Berg has a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Ylva also has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from Uppsala University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Before their university education, Ylva attended Thorildsplans Gymnasium in Stockholm from 1989 to 1993, where they studied General Science with a technical profile. In addition to their formal education, Ylva has obtained various certifications in areas such as corporate responsibility, effective company directorship, enterprise architecture, and project management.
