Allison Barton

Allison Barton has extensive experience in health education and program coordination. Currently serving as a Coordinator and Health Educator at Moorpark College since March 2014, Allison also contributes to AFS Intercultural Programs as the Orientation Chair and Chapter Support Coordinator, focusing on organizing orientations for high school foreign exchange students and facilitating volunteer activities. In addition to previous roles at AFS from 2004 to 2011, which included updating team charters and representing teams at a national level, Allison operated Health Program Solutions from December 2013 to December 2020, where responsibilities included the development and evaluation of health programs. Allison holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University, a School Nurse Credential from California State University, Northridge, and a BSN from California State University, Chico.
