David Bekesi

David Bekesi has extensive experience in international relations and economic development, working with organizations such as AFS Intercultural Programs as a Volunteer, Trainer, and Programme Coordinator since August 2002. Previously, David held advisory roles at the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice in Hungary (2012-2014) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary (2014-2016), focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa and international trade. David's diplomatic experience includes serving as Economic Attaché and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Hungary in Ghana from 2016 to 2019, and short-term internships, such as with the Embassy of Hungary in Pretoria. In January 2024, David took on the role of Director for International Relations and Development and Head of the Centre for International Strategy and Coordination at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Teaching with an English specialization from Kaposvár University.
