Nancy Sperco

Vice President Support Greater Phoenix Chapter at AFS Intercultural Programs

Nancy Sperco has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nancy started their career at Bloomingdale's in 1979 as an IT Project Manager and later worked as a Systems Analyst. Nancy then joined Federated Department Stores as a Consultant for a year in 1989. In 2000, they joined Pope & Talbot as a Business Process Consultant until 2006. Nancy's longest tenure was at AFS Intercultural Programs, where they held multiple roles including Volunteer Coordinator, Hosting Committee member, and eventually served as the Vice President of Support for the Greater Phoenix Chapter. In this role, they oversaw all support for AFS international high school students and host families in the area, managed a team of 35 liaisons, documented support cases, and collaborated with national AFS staff. Nancy's work experience demonstrates their expertise in international student support, team management, and problem-solving.

Nancy Sperco holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American History (United States) from Middlebury College.
