Dan Moriarty

Dan Moriarty, MPA, is a dedicated Fleet Technician at the City of Boston's Police Department, where they have worked since 1996, primarily focusing on vehicle maintenance across various facilities. In addition to their technical role, they have served as the President of the Boston Police Civilians Local 944, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and advocating for improvements in healthcare and education for union members. Dan obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Boston and later earned a Master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the same institution. They have also mentored high school vocational students through a summer job program, emphasizing the importance of trade skills.
