Melanie Boyer

Melanie Boyer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various communication roles. Melanie is currently working as the Assistant Director of Communications at AFT, where they construct communication assets and executive speechwriting for the second-largest teacher's union in the U.S. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Communications at First Book, overseeing media relations strategy and brand messaging

Melanie Boyer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northern Arizona University, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in International Training and Education at American University, from 2002 to 2004.
