Stuart Souki

Stuart Souki is an Associate Professor at East Los Angeles College, where they contribute to academic leadership as the former Second Vice President of the ELAC Academic Senate. Previously, they served as a high school science teacher at Green Dot Public Schools and a middle school science teacher at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools. Stuart also held the position of Adjunct Professor at Cerritos College and Orange Coast College, teaching microbiology courses. In addition, they have been actively involved with AFT as Chapter President since 2022. Stuart completed their education at the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine, earning a degree between 2002 and 2009 and participated in the McNair Scholars Undergraduate Research Fellowship from 2000 to 2002.
