Jake Thomas

Jake Thomas is an experienced script reader and podcast panelist with a diverse background in media and entertainment. Currently serving as a script reader for The Black List since April 2021, Jake also contributes as a recurring podcast panelist on Afterbuzz TV’s Popcorn Talk’s THE CON GUY and THE SCARE GUY since September 2017. Previous roles include treatment writer for Invisible Narratives, video editor for Netflix and We Are Moving Stories, and script reader for Covert Media, where responsibilities included providing script coverage and revisions. Early career experience includes contributing writing for Fanbase Press and performing comedy improv at Spats & Cane. Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Malone University, earned in 2007.
