John Smit

John Smit has extensive experience in environmental management and public service. Currently serving as a senior BTI waterzuivering en stortgas at Afvalzorg since April 2007, John has a strong background in waste management and water purification. Prior to this role, John served as a Raadslid for D66 Beemster from March 2010 to March 2018, contributing to local governance and community initiatives. John’s career began at CONO Kaasmakers, where from September 1990 to February 2007, John was involved as a proces and environment employee, focusing on operational efficiencies and environmental sustainability.
