Denise Beach is currently the Director of Building Codes and Standards at the American Gas Association, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as a Senior Engineer at the National Fire Protection Association from 2009 to 2014, and as an Engineering Specialist at FM Global from 2014 to 2025. Denise has also held various engineering roles at companies such as York International and Baltimore Aircoil, and was the Director of Certification & Technical Services at NPGA from 2003 to 2009. Denise earned a Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Certificate from TEES Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center-TAMU and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Fire Protection Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
