Emil Skals

Emil Skals is a partner at The Footprint Firm and serves on the boards of a:gain and Alive Festival. They advise large companies on integrating sustainability into their business models and invest in promising start-ups and scale-ups, with a focus on technology, construction, and pharmaceuticals. They previously held leadership roles including Chief Strategy Officer at Lendager Group and worked as a Senior Consultant and Manager at QVARTZ (now Bain & Company), with earlier positions at Nordea and time spent as an expatriate in Stockholm. They earned a Master’s degree in Engineering (M.Sc.Eng) in Design & Innovation from the Technical University of Denmark and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and volunteered as Analytics team lead for Roskilde Festival.
