Tzvi Shir has a diverse range of work experience. Tzvi started their career as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from September 2012 to August 2014. Tzvi then worked as a Research Assistant and Data Analyst at the Bank of Israel from November 2011 to November 2014, where they were responsible for statistical processing of large data files and maintaining a database. Tzvi also gained experience as an Associate Business Analyst at TASC Consulting & Capital from November 2014 to October 2016, where they focused on data-driven analysis of complex business issues.
In 2017, Tzvi joined the Clalit Research Institute as a Data Scientist, working in collaboration with Stanford University. In this role, they were involved in pre-processing large and complex raw data sets, estimating predictive models using machine learning tools, performing cluster analysis, and conducting causal inference studies. Tzvi's time at Clalit Research Institute lasted until November 2018.
Currently, Tzvi is employed as a Data Scientist & Web Developer at Agamon, a position they have held since November 2018.
Tzvi Shir completed their Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, politics and economics (PPE) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2011 and 2014. Tzvi then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from the same university between 2013 and 2015.
