Antarip Halder

Antarip Halder has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Antarip is currently working at Aganitha as a Scientist 2, where they lead the computational chemistry research team and develops in-silico solutions for BioPharma RnD. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist 1 at Aganitha, where they also led the research team and focused on computational chemistry. Before joining Aganitha, Antarip worked as a Junior Scientist II.

Antarip's previous experience includes being a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where they conducted research from July 2018 to September 2021. Antarip has also worked at the International Institute of Information Technology as a CSIR- Senior Research Fellow and CSIR- Junior Research Fellow. In these roles, Antarip focused on their doctoral thesis, which involved understanding the electronic structures of nucleic acid base pairs and designing molecular switches based on natural and synthetic nucleobases.

Furthermore, Antarip served as a Teaching Assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology and worked on a project focused on computational core for plant metabolomics. Antarip began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at IIIT Hyderabad, where they contributed to the Virtual Labs project of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Antarip Halder's education history is as follows:

From 1997 to 2003, Antarip attended Sarada Vidyapith for their secondary school education.

From 2003 to 2005, they studied at Jadavpur Vidyapith for high school, with a focus on science.

From 2005 to 2008, Antarip attended Vidyasagar College (Calcutta University) and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physics (Honours).

From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Honours) at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH).

From 2011 to 2013, Antarip continued their studies at IIITH, earning a Master of Science by research degree in Computational Natural Science.

From 2013 to 2018, they completed their education at IIITH, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Natural Sciences.
