Rida Sohail

Rida Sohail is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as an Engineer - III at Agbara Engineering since February 2023, Rida previously held positions as Engineer - I and as a Research and Development Intern at LEMTA, where the focus was on a consensus-based approach for controlling microgrids. Earlier roles include Design Engineer at O&M Solutions, reviewing high voltage substation engineering documents, and Primary Design Engineer at Siemens, responsible for designing HV substations. Rida began the professional career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Siemens and completed an internship at EBM, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing processes. Rida holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and another Master’s degree in Decentralised Smart Energy Systems from Universite de Lorraine, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
