John Gaus

John Gaus is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Agbotic, Inc., where the company has developed a leading SmartFarm platform aimed at enhancing local, organic, and regenerative agriculture. Since January 2014, Gaus has directed efforts to create a profitable international network of SmartFarms focused on promoting health through fresh food and plant-based products. Additionally, Gaus has been a member of Golden Technology since 2004, contributing to innovative solutions for global challenges. As Director at ZeroPoint Clean Tech, Inc. from 2007 to 2020, Gaus played a significant role in advancing distributed-scale biomass gasification technology. Previously, Gaus founded and led Enermetrix, Inc., which established the first web-enabled transaction platform for retail energy, and served as Project Manager at United Illuminating, overseeing infrastructure and information systems. Gaus holds degrees from Clarkson University, Boston College (Frankfurt Germany Extension), and the Hartford Graduate School, and completed secondary education at Immaculate Heart Central High School.
