Rebecca Sankar

Rebecca is responsible for managing the portfolio and pipeline investments in the East Region. She has over 10 years of experience in agri-business and finance in emerging markets. She has held a number of roles at AgDevCo; she set-up the operations in Uganda (2015) and Kenya (2020); led investments in Malawi (2014); and was Portfolio Manager for the Group for three years. Prior to AgDevCo, she managed a large rice farming, milling and exporting company in South America. Rebecca has a BBA (Hons) in Finance, a MSc in Development Studies and a MBA from Insead.
