Barbara Murphy

Barbara Murphy is a Senior Director of Resident Care and Services at AgeCare, where they provide support for resident care and services. Previously, they served as the Director of Care at Chartwell Retirement Residences, overseeing the nursing department and coordinating care for 175 residents. Barbara has also held various roles at Chartwell, including Director of Quality and System Effectiveness, Consultant in Resident Care and Services, and Infection Control Quality Manager. They began their nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Maple Villa LTCH, managing care for 93 residents. Barbara's education includes a Diploma of Nursing from Mohawk College and certifications in Gerontological Nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association.
