Niels Dankert began their career in 2011 as a Workshop Employee at Siegmann und Schröder GmbH. Niels then worked as a Research Associate/Diplom-Ingenieur at GALAB Laboratories GmbH from January 2012 to August 2012. Niels took a paternity leave from September 2012 to June 2013. After that, they joined Siegmann und Schröder GmbH again as an RMA Complaint Coordinator from July 2013 to April 2014. Since May 2014, Niels has been working at Agena Bioscience, starting as a Junior Field Service Engineer and progressing through the ranks to become a Field Service Engineer II, then Field Service Engineer III, and finally a Field Application Scientist II. In January 2021, they took on the role of Customer Support Manager, EMEA, where they are responsible for leading the EMEA Customer Support Team and managing all service activities within the region.

Niels Dankert received their education at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a degree in Biotechnologie. Niels completed their studies in 2011 and obtained the degree of Dipl.-Ing. Additionally, in 2016, Niels Dankert obtained a certification in Medizinprodukteberater und Sicherheitsbeauftragter from PROSYSTEM AG. In 2020, they further enhanced their skills by obtaining a certification in Leadership - Skills für die erste Führungsposition from Haufe Akademie.
