Stephen Sharp

Stephen Sharp PhD possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology and genomic services sectors, having held various leadership roles in sales, marketing, and business management. Notable positions include Director of Business Management at Cogenics, Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing at Gene Codes Corporation, and Principal Consultant at Sharp Biotech Consulting. Stephen also served as Associate Director of Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Director of Life Science Solutions at Elsevier, where responsibilities included transitioning software to cloud platforms and advancing market adoption of innovative technologies. Currently, Stephen serves as Senior Territory Manager at Agena Bioscience and previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing at BioFluidica, Inc. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UNSW, along with postdoctoral research experience in Molecular Biology from Yale University.
