Agent Community is a global network of developers, researchers, and companies creating autonomous software agents. We are driving two core initiatives:

.agent top-level domain – a dedicated namespace that makes agent identities clear, trusted, and discoverable.

Agent Interface Discovery (AID) – an open, DNS-based spec that lets any agent find and verify another with a single TXT record.

Open Agent initiated and stewards the project, but the community directs the roadmap and policies.

Why it matters
Agents are exploding in number and capability. Without shared standards, the web risks fragmenting into private silos. By securing the .agent TLD and shipping open discovery specs, we give every agent – and the people who build them – a safe, interoperable home.

Member benefits

Early .agent domain reservation before public launch

Voting rights on policies, grant programs, and abuse response

Working-group access for spec authorship, security tooling, and best practices

Credibility as a founding supporter (logo on site, ICANN filing)

Membership is free today – no contracts, no payments.

How to get involved
