AGent Energy helps unlock one of the largest untapped energy resources in the United States: backup generation behind commercial and industrial facilities.

Across the United States, hospitals, manufacturers, data centers, water infrastructure, universities, and other critical facilities operate backup generators designed for emergencies. Collectively, these assets represent more than 200 GW of installed capacity — one of the largest untapped energy resources in the country.

At the same time, electricity demand is accelerating for the first time in decades, driven by AI, data centers, electrification, and industrial growth, while grid operators face increasing reliability challenges.

AGent connects these existing energy assets to power markets during grid emergencies — helping improve grid reliability while creating new revenue streams for the facilities that already own the infrastructure.

By enabling facilities to temporarily transfer to backup power during critical grid events, AGent helps:

• Improve grid reliability during system emergencies
• Lower overall energy costs for consumers
• Create meaningful new revenue for facility owners
• Support the next generation of AI and large-load growth

AGent works with hospitals, manufacturers, data centers, and other critical infrastructure operators, while collaborating with regulators, hyperscalers, utilities, and grid operators to responsibly unlock this dormant capacity.

Connect. Monetize. Maintain.

AGent Energy connects energy assets to markets, helps facilities monetize infrastructure they already own, and maintains readiness for the moments when the grid needs it most.

If your facility operates backup generation, AGent may be able to help you earn revenue while supporting grid reliability during emergency events.
