Sofia Fridell Wigström

Sofia Fridell Wigström has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Prior to this, they worked at Blocket from December 2020 to January 2022 as a Sales Manager, where they were responsible for running sales at Blocket Jobb and Utbildning. Their main tasks included coaching and leading the teams, setting budgets, and generating maximum business value for the teams and customers.

From August 2016 to November 2019, Sofia worked as the Head of Talent & Employer Branding at Scandic Hotels, the largest Nordic hotel operator with a network of 230 hotels in seven countries.

Sofia also served as the COO at Denison Consulting from October 2013 to October 2015, where they were responsible for starting the company in the Nordics, setting strategies and directions, and bringing in new business. Sofia worked closely with clients to achieve breakthrough results and supported change and plans by integrating a deep understanding of corporate culture.

From August 2008 to October 2013, Sofia worked as a Key Account Manager & Human Capital Consultant at NovaAgentum, where they handled negotiations and managed important client accounts.

Prior to that, from May 2007 to May 2008, they were the Head of Reconciliations at Carnegie Investment Bank, overseeing reporting between bank accounts and accountancy systems.

Sofia started their career as an Administrator in the Back Office of SEB Asset Management from May 2005 to May 2007. Their responsibilities included foreign currency exchanges, international transfers, and administration of internal fund management systems.

Sofia Fridell Wigström has a diverse education history. Sofia obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Södertörn University in Stockholm, Sweden, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. During this period, they also attended Stockholm University and focused on Economics between 2002 and 2004. Sofia further expanded their educational horizons by enrolling in an Art School called Konstskolan Basis in Stockholm from 2004 to 2005.

In pursuit of their academic goals, Sofia decided to venture abroad and attended Ceska Zemedelska Universita in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2003. It was here that they completed their studies and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Before their university studies, Sofia also participated in the Cambridge English Certificate and Business Program at Barnes Community School in London, England, from 1999 to 2000.
