LeNita Gardner, CHW, CRSS, currently serves as a Care Coordinator at AgeOptions and a Community Specialist at Next Steps Outreach, where the focus is on supporting individuals impacted by addiction through a non-judgmental approach. In addition to these roles, LeNita holds positions as a Life Insurance Specialist at FinFit Life and as an Insurance License Agent Entrepreneur at Neena’s Financial Services, while also having experience as a Life Insurance Agent with American Income Life Insurance Company and a Licensed Insurance Agent at Consumer Capitol Group. LeNita's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from City Colleges of Chicago-Kennedy-King College, and completion of the CHW apprenticeship program in Community Health Work.

AgeOptions is a nonprofit organization connecting older adults and those who care for them with resources and service options so they can live their lives to the fullest. Since 1974, our mission has been to sustain and promote independence for older persons in their own homes and communities. As the Area Agency on Aging of suburban Cook County, Illinois, we advocate, plan, coordinate and fund services for older adults. Together with a network of community-based senior service organizations, we connect residents with vital services such as information and assistance, community dining programs and home-delivered meals, housekeeping help, employment services, access to benefits and support for family caregivers.
