Chris van der Loo joined Gallagher as Chief Product Officer for Animal Management’s Product & Technology in August 2022, responsible for global R&D and a product development roadmap that will move our solutions-focused priorities forward.
After studying at Otago University, Chris has built a strong leadership background in NZ and the USA for several industries including agriculture, geospatial, civil construction, and aerospace. As a leader, Chris’s focus is to “inspire teams to deliver technology systems that solve complex customer problems and deliver technology-driven value.”
At a time of rapid business growth and change, and always with the customer-needs in mind, Chris will play a key role in working with our customers and teams around the world to set us up for continued and future success.

This device connects animals to the internet and benefits farmers by; • increasing productivity and reducing operational costs, • improving the health and welfare of livestock, and • improving our environment by helping farmers prevent cattle polluting our waterways.
