Heitor Silva

Prof. Dr. Heitor Ribeiro da Silva is a dedicated researcher and pharmaceutical professional specializing in Amazonian bioactive compounds. Currently, they serve as a pharmacologist at the Laboratory of Drug Research at the Federal University of Amapá and as a professor at IMMES, where they focus on training future professionals in pharmacognosy and phytotherapy. In the private sector, Heitor is the Manager of Research & Development at AGES Bioactive Compounds and the CTO of Amazbiotech, leading innovative projects aimed at utilizing the biodiversity of the Amazon. Heitor holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Innovation from the Federal University of Amapá and has completed various specializations in areas including clinical cytology and magistral pharmacy.
