Paul Matteucci is a Partner at US Venture Partners and founder of FoodCrunch.

Paul is an Operating Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP) with over $1.5 billion in funds raised. Paul joined USVP in 2001 and was previously a General Partner at USVP and has served as an interim Chief Executive Officer for several USVP companies. Paul is also the founder of FoodCrunch, a ‘for-purpose’ enterprise to address the growing interest in AgTech and NewFood among creative entrepreneurs. Paul is a frequent lecturer at business schools, including Notre Dame, University of Minnesota, Montana State, and U.C. Davis on both venture capital and food system reform, and has been a frequent speaker at many of the top food and agtech conferences including Ag Innovation Showcase, Silicon Velley AgTech Conference, AgTech Week, Indoor Ag Con, MIT Sustainability Summit, the Mixing Bowl, and the Reimagine Food Summit at Expo 2015. With a passion for mentoring startup teams, he helped a generation of entrepreneurs learn object lessons in how to execute during difficult times. In addition, Paul has been an Advisor to other Silicon Valley companies and venture capital firms including Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventu res, and Sutter Hill Ventures in the 1990s. Prior to joining to USVP, he has been an entrepreneur, executive, and investor in technology companies. Paul is a trustee of the World Affairs Council and a member of the National Council of the American Prairie Reserve. Paul speaks and writes articles on business strategy for technology startups, organizational development, internet business models, Voice Over IP, and advertising and branding in new media. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, an MA in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from University of the Pacific.
