Ponshankar Balan

Ponshankar brings over 8 years of experience across System Administration, Network Administration, Virtual Cloud compute and networking technologies, SaaS, PaaS & IaaS environments, He graduated from Anna University in India with an M.Tech degree and started his career as in technical support. Ponshankar is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified Solution Architect and also has hands-on experience in Google Cloud and Azure platforms. He joined the AI's IT team in 2016 and is now wholly responsible for all cloud solution strategies, products and services. He leads a team that delivers high-quality support and optimal outcomes to all internal departments and is passionate about solving complex problems and learning new technologies. His hands-on expertise and experience working with developers, data experts and everything in between has armed him with the capability to deep dive workflows and offer advice around optimization of processes and IT infrastructure enhancements.
