Alan Sweeney

Alan Sweeney has over a decade of experience in the electrical and production management field, currently serving as Production Manager at Aggreko since December 2010. In this role, Alan oversees a production team to ensure adherence to key performance indicators related to build plans, on-time delivery, and quality. Previously, Alan worked as a Campaign Programme Manager, focusing on proactive maintenance campaigns for Aggreko generators and equipment to enhance reliability and minimize costs. As a Field Service Supervisor, Alan managed teams for on-site maintenance and commissioning of generators globally. Alan began his career as an Electrician and Field Service Technician at Aggreko and further developed skills in electrical installation during a tenure at Ardmore Construction Group. Alan started an apprenticeship at Ledgerwood Electrical Contractors, where foundational skills in electrical work were acquired. Educational qualifications include electrical training from Clydebank College and foundational studies at Clydebank High School.
