John Wilson

John Wilson is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Aggreko in Canada since August 2013, John has previously held the roles of Area General Manager for North Asia, overseeing business operations in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, and General Manager for the Nordic Region, focusing on temporary power solutions across Scandinavia. Before joining Aggreko, John was the General Manager for Wayne, a GE Energy Business, where leadership was provided for forecourt services across the UK and Ireland, fostering growth and innovation. Prior experience includes serving as EMEA Planning Director and Controller at Russell Europe Ltd, where operational and financial planning was managed, along with a finance leadership role at Grampian Country Food Group. John Wilson holds a finance degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, achieved from 1981 to 1984.
