Mark James

Mark James is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Tax at Aggreko since June 2022, Mark has previously held significant positions, including Senior Director of Tax, Strategy and Transfer Pricing at Kantar, and interim roles as UK Tax Director and Global Head of Tax. Mark's career also includes leadership as Head of Tax at DS Smith, VP of Tax & Treasury at Deliveroo, and Director of Tax at G4S, where strategic leadership encompassed the global tax function for a large workforce across over 120 countries. Earlier experience includes tax management roles at Hanson plc, InterContinental Hotels Group plc, Holiday Inn International BV, Bass International Brewers, and Deloitte, contributing to a strong foundation in tax strategy and stakeholder management. Mark holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Nottingham Trent University.
