Simon Boyd

Simon Boyd has extensive experience in the field of molecular spectroscopy and instrumentation, having worked at Agilent Technologies from October 2011 to January 2016 as a European Service Specialist, leading a team of engineers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. Responsibilities included providing on-site and internal training in various aspects of service. Simon also served as a Field Service Specialist in Germany and Austria, focusing on installations, customer training, and maintenance. Additionally, as an Infrared Specialist in Research and Development, Simon managed the development and marketing of infrared instrumentation. Prior to this industry experience, Simon completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Photochemistry at the University of Melbourne, where research centered on targeted drug delivery and photodynamic therapy. Simon's educational background includes a VCE in Physical Sciences from Melbourne High School.
