Jonah Siekmann is a software engineer with experience in machine learning, deep reinforcement learning, and embedded systems programming. Jonah began their career in 2021 as a Software Engineer II - Machine Learning at Agility Robotics. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University's Dynamic Robotics Lab, where they investigated the limits of deep reinforcement learning as applied to bipedal locomotion. In 2019, they were a Machine Learning Software Engineering Intern at Cadence Design Systems, where they contributed to Facebook's open-source GLOW software. In 2018, they were a Software Consultant and Firmware Intern at Halliburton, where they wrote and debugged drivers for an assortment of i2c devices and worked with various serialization libraries.

Jonah Siekmann attended Oregon State University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science (HBS) in Computer Science. Jonah then continued their studies at Oregon State University, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
