Monali Mandra

Monali Mandra has extensive experience in product compliance and safety engineering. In 2023, they began working as a Senior Product Compliance Engineer at Agility Robotics. Prior to that, they were a Safety & Energy Compliance Engineer at Microsoft from 2021 to 2018. At Microsoft, they were responsible for certification of products as per CB/CE scheme for Safety standards such as IEC 62368-1, 62133, 60950, UL 1642, 2056, 2054 for North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand. From 2018 to 2016, they were a Regulatory Compliance Engineer at Belkin International, where they were responsible for certification of products as per CB/CE scheme for standards such as IEC 62368-1, 62133, 60950, UL 1310, 2056, 2054, BS1363 and North America and world wide Energy Efficiency standards. From 2016 to 2013, they were a Product Safety Engineer at Professional Testing (EMI), Inc., where they conducted product safety testing with a focus on the following IEC/EN/UL and CSA standards: 61010 and 60950 to assist customers in achieving CB and CE scheme approvals and NRTL marks. Prior to that, they were a Project Engineer at Intertek from 2013 to 2012, where they were responsible for electrical evaluation, safety certification and production readiness of Lighting related products. From 2012 to 2006, they were an IC Layout Designer at IC Enable, where they were responsible for integrated circuit layout design and developing parameterized cells, LVS and DRC checks. From 2006 to 2012, they were a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, where they designed, developed and fabricated a micro device using Plasma and RF technologies.

Monali Mandra has a strong educational background. Monali began their studies in 1994, obtaining an Associate Degree in Electronics and Radio Engineering from Cusrow Wadia Institute Of Technology. Monali then attended The University of Texas at Dallas, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) - Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering. Monali continued their studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, completing an M.S (Research track) in Electrical Engineering in 2009. In addition, Monali has obtained various certifications, including Communication Foundations and Critical Thinking and Problem Solving from LinkedIn in 2023, Microsoft Global Hackathon 2021 from Microsoft in 2021, and Building Resilience from LinkedIn in 2021.
