Joel Varty

Joel Varty has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry. Joel has held positions such as Solution Architect and Senior Developer. In their current role as President at Agility, they are responsible for leading the company's technical strategy and product development.

Joel started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at United System Solutions. Joel was the lead developer on the web client for Maximizer Enterprise for Notes. In 2000, they joined Cognicase as a Senior Developer. Joel was responsible for developing ME4N CRM software. In 2003, they left Cognicase to join Point Alliance Inc. as a Solution Architect. There they were responsible for architecting and developing Asp.net, Lotus Notes/Domino, Windows Mobile, Blackberry applications. In 2005, they left Point Alliance Inc. to join Agility as President.

Joel Varty has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph in English. Joel also has certification from Microsoft as an Azure Developer Associate and MCSA.
